Being that it is sold by 1SaleADay, I would assume the firmware is the same. You can follow the instructions posted by kingofdeal (comment 4) in the last FP forum http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/7...600f7d8301 to use Tomato firmware.

They are an "old" model but that seems to have nothing to do with it. They are all being sold by the same company. They must have fallen off a truck seriously who cares. They have all the features. The only problem is the stock firmware isnt so good. People have been using dd wrt and tomato to make them great.

reviews on amazon are not encouraging. 26 one-stars out of 60 reviews, overall 2.3 stars.

why do people keep reposting this?? and how many of these are out there?? or may be nobody is buying them so they keep putting this on sale.

I ordered this from 1saleaday on the 21st of july, they just shipped it 2 days ago, lol.

I bought one from 1saleaday and is in the process of returning it. After I load the latest Toastman/Tomato firmware on it, the unit hangs daily. Would like to have a dual band router but this one is not for me. Good Luck.
