The box is mohogany "colored"...sort of like the silver "colored" bracelets for sale in Mexico for $1 they just forget the word "colored"...lol

You can get gold leaf at art stores in huge sheets (cheap) and rub a layer or layers onto a multitude of things.

I like the idea of throwing them at victims...I used to be able to throw cards hard enough to get them to stick in walls or doorframes...gold plated cards and rub the edges in diamond dust from some industrial grinding wheels for good measure...get a cool outfit and a catch phrase like "i keeeel you!!" let the mayhem begin.

Any clue if these are paper plated with gold, or metal? I wouldn't be opposed to a more durable set of cards.

I ordered, but then read the comments on here and the links to the Chinese products, I'm going to cancel now. The bastards had better let me cancel. :|
