I'd bought it the last time it was on sale as well and it's pretty nice - don't expect too much for this price, but for the money it's great. It's one of the very few FM transmitters that works on my 2004 Infiniti G35.
If you stop playing before you turn off the car, it actually starts where you left off. I'm hoping for the round one or the other one with the steering wheel transmitter to go on sale. The play button is a little hard to reach on this one because of the position of the power location in my car. |

Do both of you live in rural areas? The reason I ask is because FM transmitters do not work where I live. There is too much interference for the audio to come through clearly.

How's the noise on the transmitter? The overwhelming majority of transmitters I've used produced noise or hiss.

I have to find a place on the radio dial where there is no local station. When I set the mp3 player to that station it works just great with very little noise. Recently when I took a road trip I had to change the station setting every now and then as the setting I chose became crowded with a local channel.

you can buy fm transmitter with usb/ sd card/remote for less than $5 on ebay. it will not have any internal memory but u will be able to hook usb/sd card to it

I may have to give this one a shot for my car that has no CD player. I had a really nice one of these that I paid $40 for but it was stolen (although the thief failed to take the remote so I bet he never figured out how to use it). It's nice to hear an actual review because some of these things don't work worth a crap.
