Looking for Water Heater, Sears/Home Depot Coupons

h4b1t 152 August 10, 2012 at 10:10 AM
I'm looking for a Water Heater. I've basically decided on a model at either Home Depot or Sears so basically I'm looking for an online or B&M coupon code I'll pick up in store. Any help is greatly appreciated. I see Sears has a Friends and Family starting tomorrow but it excludes water heaters Mad

Have you tried a Lowes Moving coupon? Most HDs will take them based on my experience.

Also, I paid the $150 and had Lowes install my water heater. For me it was totally worth it as mine is in a bad spot and the $150 included delivery to the house, install, and haul away of the old one. Came out the next morning to the garage and there was a strong propane smell. Manually opened the garage door and called them out. Turned out the install guy did a fine job but there was a tiny leak in the unit itself. They brought a new one out, swapped it, and took the leaking unit back to the store. Can't even imagine the cost/hassle if I had tried to do it myself or hire a 3rd party plumber as no way they would have swapped it for free.

So what I'm trying to say is that unless you're installing it yourself I'd check out Sears/HD install service. If they sell you the unit and it's installed and something goes wrong then you only have one person to call and they can't point the finger at anyone else!

Thanks for the info, do you get the lowes coupon from the post office? I'm not sure that will work for me since the nearest lowes is proably 50 miles away. Sears charges $250 to install, my neighbor is going to do the install for me so I'm not worried about that part.

either that or www.lowesmoving.com

It will take probably 2-3 days for the coupon to appear in your e-mail.

Alternatively you can purchase them on e-bay or other sites.

Just look for Lower 10% Coupon or Home Depot 10% Coupon.

Just know that some HD don't accept internet based Lowes, or any Lowes. Mine however 95%+ of the time don't balk at it.
