how do I prove I have showtime/starz for the rebate? I'm looking at my bill and it is only showing HBO/Cinemax, but I have showtime and stars too.

U300 Uverse TV $87 - $28 1 yr 08/16/2012 - 08/16/2013 = $59
Uverse TV addt'l receiver $7 no promo = $7
Uverse HD fee $10 no promo = $10
Uverse HSIA 18 $53 - $16 1 yr 08/16/2012 - 08/16/2013 = $37
Uverse HSIA equp fee $6 - $6 indefinite = $0.00

Total: $113/month

I emailed them on Sunday and still no reply Frown

It is in the U300 package. They are aware it is in there. Just point out you have the U300 and they will give it to you Smilie

Thank you so much for this post. They just upgraded my internet to 18mbps and the tv from U200 to U450 and reduced my bill $40 per month. Today is a good day.

Would be nice if u-verse allowed you more freedom over the inbound/outbound stuff. They still control the router so it sucks in that regard.

Well its $7monthly (if you can't get a promo for the free receiver fee.), however there is a one time $49 fee for getting this on the U200 or lower package..keep in mind it is only for new sign ups i believe.

I connect my existing router to the internet gateway they provide. on 12MBPS, i still get around 11MBPS and a much stronger signal from my own router. Works just as good IMO.

under my bill I see wired DVR Receiver - $0 and wireless non DVR - $0. I can add an additional wireless for an extra $7 a month. I signed up a couple months ago (U300) and still have a few promotions going, maybe this is one of them and I didn't know about.

I connect my existing router to the internet gateway they provide. on 12MBPS, i still get around 11MBPS and a much stronger signal from my own router. Works just as good IMO.
I ran into the problem of their gateway still holding the keys as far as UDP/TCP and UPnP. It's not a straight situation like cable where you own router and modem.

Maybe it depends on the type of router you have as well as the type of gateway AT&T provides? Also I believe you can manage those settings on your computer by typing in the gateway's IP address.

I have found these promotions to be more trouble than they are worth. The girl at the corporate store eventually gave me the promotion after I asked nicely for a long period of time... she finally found something she thought was the right promotion.

But my bills never reflected all of the promotions. For example, no free HD and a limit of 2 receivers. So now I have to call every month and hope that they give me a partial refund, which they don't always do.

Basically, if you can't point to where you saw the promotion, you might have a lot of trouble with this whole thing.

That's a really sh***y situation the rep did there. That shouldn't be how it works at all. If anyone of you guys need help getting set up or have any questions, I am more than happy to help. But as far as existing orders go, there isn't much I can personally do. Frown
