My friend saw this and wanted his time back after seeing it. What did other think as I didn't see it, but looked like a cool concept if pulled off correctly, as they had a good cast.

I do know people who loved it though. I thought it actually went on a little too long so an extended edition is kinda iffy, imo. Hope someone is interested.

I liked the movie. It's not a reboot/remake/rethinking, etc of about 75% of the movies that are released nowadays. And while It wasn't great, it certainly wasn't horrible either. The cast was good, the acting was fine, the plot decent...I was locked in until the last 20 minutes or so. The ending kind of lacked....something.
I wouldn't buy this for $12.99 (I was hoping this would have been a $5 movie during BB's upgrade promotion), but would gladly pay the $7.99-$9.99 range for it. That said, I don't think the Blu-Ray is worth $12.99. The most I would pay is probably $5, $8 at the most. Going to wait until the holidays to grab it, maybe. |
