I created a new free Personal account and the option was available to me immediately. It looks like the rollout is gradual with access given only to certain accounts.

For Business and Enterprise accounts only....

For those who don't yet have sync, you can try to email them asking that they enable it for you. Yeah, I know, I probably just crashed their servers with the Slickdeals effect.

Check your email a couple of days after logging in on Box.com if you were unable to register for Box Sync. You may receive an offer in a couple of days. YMMV.

Its working and downloaded it. Finally. Now I can use that free 50GB from the Webos/touchpad deal.

I didn't have the 'Get BOX Sync' link on the apps page. I had to browse to 'official apps' but then it offers me an upgrade option....nothing for free. Bummer.

No go for me on my 50GB / 1GB max file size account. I did find this though:
Box Sync is available for free to Box Business and Enterprise customers. If you would like to upgrade to Business or Enterprise and have Box Sync added to your account, please contact our sales team at 1-877-729-4269. |
