I just answered this in another post because I mentioned that I have a 12% off discount through the federation of american consumers and travelers on my DTMCSA rate plan so I thought I would share it with everybody. I'm not a member and have had this discount for over 2 years. Was super easy to add. Everybody should have at least one of the 2 I posted below Smilie

Here is how it works:

Call T-Mobile at 877-453-8824 and mention that you are a member of Federation of American Consumers and Travelers. Give T-Mobile the FACT promo code: 10045TMOFAV, if they ask for it.

FACT PHONE # 1-800-872-3228

Might be easier to add it through the online chat via tmobile.com/ (this should be no problem) but I recommend you call! Just say you have a discount code that you would like to apply to the account and just give it to them real quick and hang up, don't spend any time on the phone. Point of this is so they don't ask for further info. I added mine a while back and it seems like a hit or miss on them asking for FACT ID number.

T-Mobile did not ask me for my FACT membership number to verify membership. . If you have to join FACT to get your FACT T-Mobile discount, it is still totally worth it. FACT membership is only $12 per 3 months and you can join online at usafact.org... You can then cancel it within 60 days and get your money back, if you want. You are already a member, if your health insurance is through Golden Rule

link to sign up : https://www.usafact.org/joinnowbasic.aspx

another option :

WOrst case scenario = add the freelancers union discount which is only 10% not the 12% like the above.

*ADD THIS VIA TMOBILE.COM ONLINE CHAT*
https://be.freelancersunion.org/d...corporate/ click life then tmobile to see
You will need your t-mobile information, your member ID, name of the organization (freelancers union/ working today) and their phone number (800.856.9981)

THat's it! Completely FREE to join and only takes 2 minutes.

Everyone who has t-mobile should have at LEAST this discount. It is easy, free and completely legit.

HINT: In addition to having the phone number of the group (800-856-998) You need a member No, and the organization's discount code - 7777TMOFAV

enjoynod

Actually it's 14%, at least for me. Cool part about aaa discount is it keeps going up the more members aaa gets. That's direct from the ass's err horse's mouth Stick Out Tongue. It started at 11% two or so years ago.

Keep in mind that's a aaa discount, not AA. Stick Out Tongue
Did you get this applied at a Direct T-Mobile store or over the phone/chat ?

Did you have to to fax/email/mail in a MCSA_Form ?

How long did it take for the discount to reflect on your my-tmobile account ?

I just signed up yesterday, and according to the MCSA form I got from chat, it says the *contract* will be extended for 2 yrs. But, I signed up for the *uncarrier* no contract [ bring your own device ] plan! I wonder if this will be changed to a contract ? Any idea ?

This is all for a AAA Plus membership discount.

Thanks a lot!! bounce

I did that by chat or e-mail. They sent me the link for form. I filled it up and fax back. The discount started a month later. I did that several years ago while I have the same plan at T-mobile since 10 years ago. My discount in T-mobile bill pays for my AAA membership and more. The discount in my account has been several years.

Well the wording at https://www.freelancersunion.org/.../t-mobile/ says
Quote :
Already have T-Mobile and want to receive 10% off your bill add a new line of service to your account.
Anyone tried to cancel a line or port over to a prepaid plan & reopen the line & have the number port back over? Would that qualify as a "new" line?
Or just open a new line for some random extended family member on the family plan & then canceling it saying that family member ended up opening an individual line?

Anyways... even better than this is try getting discount from school if you're a student/employee/alum...

I don't know, think it's per school.

I called on my UCF & they weren't offering a discount on rate plan on alum, just discount on phones or free phones.

do these discounts still work with the uncarrier plans? i read if you used a discount it would renew you to a 2 year deal, but what happens if you are on uncarrier?

i've confirmed with multiple CSRs that the MCSA discounts will auto transfer to the uncarrier plans.

but not sure about it renewing 2 years though.

Do you have the new uncarrier plan? Did they make you get a new line to apply it?
