Another help me pick a router thread

Yes, I know, another one sorry guys. I see there is a thread about this still on the first page but my needs are different so hopefully can get at least a few good recommendations.

Looking for a router under $30, very no frills obviously. This is just for my room and to cover the area of a tiny apartment. Connected will be one ps3 (by LAN), one laptop that doesn't have n capability, and occasionally a smartphone or two. So only g is required but n might be nice considering things could change in the near future. Stock firmware is preferred but I can root if necessary.

So really just looking for a basic g router; the only thing I really care about is reliability. Hoping for possibly a g router thats been out forever with an amazing track record. Thanks in advance for any help.

Perhaps this one [newegg.com] would serve you ok. I don't have it but have heard from others that have had it and liked it just fine for their needs.

Any router with less than $30, at least 4 eggs, and has WPA encryption on newegg website will do. For the "amazing track record" router I'd still look for Linksys WRT54GL or WRT54GL-TM and put tomato on it. It's still $49.99 on newegg with 3,699 reviews at 5 egg rating. That explains something.
