SIMple Mobile (T-Mobile MVNO) $50 Unlim. Talk, Text, 4G web

The prepaid T-Mobile MVNO now offers:

-unlimited text
-unlimited voice
-unlimited 4g data

for $50 instead of the previous $60.

This also applies for the previously $60 Blackberry 4g plan, which is now also $50.

Good news for those who prefer prepaid over postpaid as this means prepaid plans are only get better and better drool

1. The 4G data is NOT unlimited.

2. No Unlocking needed to use T-Mobile Phone on Simple Mobile. Since Simple Mobile uses T-Mobile's network, their SIM will work even if your phone is locked to T-Mobile.

My brother is looking into this deal, but he is concerned about the 4G data speeds on this network. I use T-mobile and my data speeds are usually decent (~4 mbps), can anyone confirm if he can expect data speed in this range?

Depends where he lives. My house, I get 20, but about 5 outside. I'm sure it won't be too slow.

Thanks for your input! I am assuming you have service through SIMPLE. If this is correct, do you have anyone in your area that has T-Mobile, and if so, do they experience the same speeds as you do?

I believe your capped after 2GB and if you some how make it to 3GB on the same billing cycle your account will be cancelled. I forgot where I read it, if I come across it again i'll post it.
