Can anyone recommended a good external enclosure for this? TIA

Triple layer BD-R XL 100G disk, cost $65+ each on eBay. Cost more than this burner. Can you imagine making a coaster? Let's see when it will come down to around $10 each. BD-R DL 50G cost less than $4 on eBay when you buy a 10-pack.

Is mtmksirius only good for one purchase?

I already used it today, but now it doesn't work for this.

All Blu-ray drives can be 3D.
The ps3 drive, many years back, wasn't called 3D but with a firmware update it's now 3D.
I just don't get the title......sry

I am under the impression that not all blu ray players or drives do 3D. Hence why the PS3 needs (needed) a FW update. Older players and/or drives might not do 3D.

It's the disc that has 3D content in them and not the blu-ray players. You need a 3D capable laptop like a Qosmio or a 3D hdtv.

I know the content is written a certain way on the blu-ray discs themselves, but until a few years ago, no Blu-ray player could do 3D.

Maybe b/c Sony was the first to offer 3D firmware and others caught up. See manufacture website of BR player and see if the firmware is out yet. Sony and Samsung is usually first to offer the latest firmware in the business.
