Chopper Bicycle
I want an adult sized chopper bicycle. Disk brakes and multi speed are my goal but I found a few bikes i am very interested unlike anything I've seen before. The problem is one is a custom order from a website translated from Czech suggesting the builder only does custom orders for people he can meet in person, and the other I can only find on bulk import sites wanting me to order 200 bikes. The cola jinac [colajinac.com] is by far the coolest bike. I would want ape hangers on it, but the promo video on youtube is sweet. The video is from 2007 and the bikes are custom, so I don't think there will be any way for me to get one of these, but here is the website. [google.com] The second bike is similar and there has to be a way to get one in the USA, there just has to! It is called the Street Star Chopper Bicycle [ymfile.com]. There are a couple of models available, the CB-6e (Chopper Bicycle 6 speed external hub) and the CB-3I (3 speed internal) Google/google image search term: Street Star Chopper cb-6e I found one forum where a user claimed to have purchased one for $165 + ~$200 shipping by contacting a Chinese company and claiming to want a demo unit preceding a supposed larger purchase, but that was a bicycle motorizing forum and long out of date. I cannot find where I can buy 1, and I cannot even find a forum specifically for bicycle importing... this is a case where a slick deal would be any place where I can buy this bicycle at all. If i had my choice between the Street Star models, I am not sure right now what I would go for. 6 speeds is easier riding, but an internal gearing is great for minimal maintenance. If I found a site selling either one and not the other, I would purchase without hesitation. Help me find a place to buy one of these bikes, a forum for bike import, a store that could be convinced to import, a talented welder who accepts custom jobs (I found lots of pictures of the design process on the cola jinac site)... help. Yeah, I have seen all of those, but my electra townie is almost as chopperish as those, so i don't know that I would go for those, even the electra choppers don't have the angles seen in the two bikes I found pictures of. The Micargi bikes are so close to what I want... but not quite.
I have seriously started looking into welding hobby classes in case i cannot find the street star for sale |

Cheap is great, but I really want the stretch look with the low seat and a steep angle on the front fork. none of the micargi or electra bikes do it for me. Also, this will surely be a slower bike, but it looks fast and I think we can all agree that this is very important, haha.
