Now I've seen everything. "Hey, Customer! Worried we're going to beat you out of your rebate? Well, if you'll let us beat you out of ten percent of it right up front, we'll speed up the process to make it less likely you'll be completely screwed!"

Here's a thought - just sell me the damn thing for forty bucks and stop playing games. I'd buy one if they'd do that. But I quit playing this "rebate" game long ago. It's not worth the hassle or the headaches of having to fight them to get your money.

c) Optical Input is compatible only with PCM audio stream. This SoundBar will NOT decode Dolby Digital audio. Your TV MUST be able to output PCM Audio in order to use this SoundBar. Most Panasonic TVs cannot.

i just bought one from just deals for 47.99 ...i had a fs coupon/w no tax but this deal still would have saved me a few dollars ...been looking for a sound bar for several months but have not found a good deal and figured i would buy these cheap ones (bought 2 for a guest house i own) not gonna complain reviews look quite good for the price and if i diont have a malfunction ....this seems to be the best deal for a sound bar in quite some time congrats to all who waited!!!!!!!!!! i am still interested in a quality bar such as yamaha or boston acoustics but i will wait for the killer deal and then give these vizio's to the salvation army!!

rebate AE card is pretty good, i can use it at any starbucks and gas station, it will stop the pump at $30 or $25 whatever amount u have

Bit the bullet on this... have not done physical submission rebates in a while (I like the Staples easyrebates better) but worth a chance on this one...

1. if this is so good, how come it is refurbished?
2. if this is so good, how come it's only really worth less than half the price after rebate?
if i have to have one of these, i'm going to shop very carefully before biting on this deal

in for 1, looking forward to having expanded audio for my 32in sceptre tv i got from the fp deal about a month back, the sound on it is low. i also already have a powered subwoofer just sitting aorund in the basement so thatll finally b put to use now too, thanks a lot.

Are you sure there isn't something wrong with either your setup or your sound source? I have this exact soundbar and have it physically connected to a subwoofer, once I read the manual and noted the speaker frequency range and set my subwoofer to the proper cutoff range it sounded perfectly fine. I can definitely attest to the fact that the subwoofer output still works while using optical connection as that is how I have my setup connected currently.
