The tiny fan kills the deal for me.
1)PLEASE stop posting about CA sales tax and recycling fees
2)The "no HDMI, deal killer" joke isn't funny 3)Stop comparing video cards to cars, the price ranges are completely different 4)You are NOT going to call your relative to SUE and if you are, you're wasting time 5)Why does Tigerdirect ask for your SSN? No clue, just don't give it to them 6)Black Friday deals aren't as great as people make them seem. |

This should crossfire fine with an A6 right?
My A6 htpc actually plays things like L4D2 just fine--I installed it so I could play with a friend...and I think it was playing smoother on my HTPC than my (much older) gaming PC. No real need for it but for $12 if you wanted some bonus graphics performance (talking out my ass here, but I would bet that the most benefit would come from the extra video RAM). You could just leave it sitting on a shelf until you have a mini-LAN party and need to use the htpc for an extra player since the little fan on here is probably too loud for media center use. |

if you can't be bothered spending 4 $40 on a gpu then rock of of these: http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Pro...19-106-001 just make sure to get ddr3 1600 cl9 at a minimum. you'll play everything on 720p fine, and 1080p at med to med low depending on the game |

Decided to do a mild upgrade from onboard HD4200 for HTPC
. Occasionally video hangs and I need to reboot so maybe this will solve that issue. Pretty cheap w/ 5% discover CB, offsets shipping cost, so bascially $10 AR. Not bad.

What does low profile mean? Is it a leaner version of a standard 6450 card? My current system has a 4850 that rocked in the past. Own power source etc.
It seems that there may be an overheating issue, as the computer crashes whenever I play a game, but not when do other non-taxing tasks. |
