Love the Economist. Is this for one year only or will it continue to renew at this rate?

When I signed up, there was a box indicating to auto renew the subscription at the same rate...If I read the information correctly, it should renew at the $51/year rate indefinitely.

Don't understand the TD's...This has been a FP deal in the past for the same price!

I'm tired of always having to renew my subscription. They seem to just stop sending them at some point, even though they don't send me anything about my subscription ending, have delt with this the last two years.

Good find!.. I got in through a 12 issues for $12 deal some time back. It has been auto renewing for that price for close to a year now.

Love the magazine and the digital subscription works great for me

Excellent! My subscription expired 3 weeks ago. Called as the website wasn't working for me and their customer service renewed me and set me up on the auto renewal for $51 a year from now on.

Thanks!

Despite what a few others have said, I called and emailed the Economist and both indicated this DOES NOT autorenew- nor is than option for this. So, it's a great deal if you don't have a subscription but unlike in the past it's not a "great price for life" sort of thing. I have an ongoing subscription but still would have done this if it autorenewed.

According to my Account information: "51 Issue Auto Renew subscription to Economist print plus digital subscription"

As stated previously, there was a box I checked when I signed up indicating if I wanted auto renewal at the same rate. I wish I had taken a screen print, but my account info does seem to indicate I have auto renewal. If in a year it auto renews at a different rate I can just cancel and wait for another $1/issue deal...

Hello All, The offer listed above with Promo code DVM22 is for new customers however that offer has also been sent to lapsed customers. We also have our holiday rate this year which is 114 for the first subscription and 74 for each additional. I have seen some in the system with the auto renewal on there however that is not the norm and that price can change at anytime. I would purchase while you can as that rate wont be around for long. There are some third party agencies offering even a lower rate for a three year subscription for $145

try directly from the economist website if you are in US. Link provided by OP up there.

Politics or Social issues aside, isn't The Economist a good read anyway. A lot of folks I have met recommend this.
