Well it was $3 cheaper like 2 months ago, but I didn't bite. Darn good PSU though. I've got a spare machine running a tri-core Phenom II and a GTX 260. This PSU powers it just fine. It may or may not hit the $17 AR price again. For $20 you won't find a better PSU guaranteed.

Thanks, OP. I just happen to be in a situation where I'm not sure if a GPU or a PSU is crapping out on me. For $20 invested in a Corsair, this was a no brainer (regardless of whether it was $2 or $3 cheaper before now).

solid unit. Runs my i7 2600K + other basic components without a hitch. Not sure about what this coil winding noise that many complain about. But mine has been running 24x7 for past 3 months.....no issues!
But I got for $2 cheaper 3 months back and someone trolled same way when I bought telling that they bought for $3 cheaper 3 more months back and the trolling continues!! |

Good deal. I just finished building 1 PC with this PSU. My only gripe is I wish the 24pin and 8pin cable are a bit longer. If you have a slightly larger medium or full tower case then you might not be able to route the cable to the back and tuck them neatly
I'm right 97% of the time. Who cares about the other 4%
