T-Mobile Galaxy S II No Contract for $299 @ Walmart & Walmart.com

Does anyone know if they're selling the white version too, or just the black one?

I'm really surprised anybody would buy a Galaxy SII now...if you just need something contract free because you're waiting for a next gen phone (or you're on a non-contract plan) I'd probably get something cheaper. I'm running the Pantech Burst and it's available super easily for $150 and has great specs...paid $130 used for mine. Right now I'd either go all out and get the latest phone or get something cheap to wait until after the next iPhone drops. Even if you want an android phone the competition is gonna heat up and the supplies of used phones will be much more plentiful after the iPhone launch since a lot of people will likely be upgrading.

Since the only LTE phone being mentioned now for T-mobile runs Windows and the upcoming One X+ will run ~$600+, this phone sounds like a good deal. You get new vs used and it runs the same price as the prepaid Galaxy Blaze. This unit should go Jellybean but in 18 months there will be something else and perhaps some good value LTE phones by that time. I feel sorry for those uses who paid full price for an S3 where the One X+ quad core and LTE are on the horizon.

I got a new galaxy S3 for $100 more. Do you think S3 is a better deal or this one ?

you are risking your IMEI blocked in the near future when buying used phones from CL or EBay when TMo implement their own stolen phone database like AT&T. Plus this phone goes for $250 used and $300 new on CL, and +50 more on Ebay off contract.

a month ago it was $390 at costco with 2 year value plan. Since you are paying their "full" price already, some ppl cancel the plan afterwards and still kept the phone.

I don't know why you would get this over the Gnex, if you're worried about wifi calling there are alternatives (grooveip/sipdroid.)

CS sucks either way and T-Mobile is only cheaper if you don't actually compare the plans, the $30 plan is great if you rarely make phone calls but T-Mo does not have a $45 unlimited* everything plan.

*ST isn't unlimited it is 2GB of high speed per month so the equivalent TMo plan is $60/mo.

They will still charge $200 early termination fee if it is cancelled. 390$ is not the full price.

not if you cancel within 14 days. $390 was the full price at costco on the value plan and there are no installments. But that's a month ago, they no longer sells GS3 on their value plan anymore.
