The first digit that is larger starts with a 6. I do not have it in front of me as it is in the car but I will see about posting a picture. I read it twice before sending the post but I will check again.
I finally found one. The guys behind the counter were confused by the T-mobile packaging and put them with the postpaid phones. Fortunately I saw the little white boxes with the "Monthly 4G" stickers when I peeked behind the counter. Nice phone for $299, especially when they are selling for $550+ everywhere else.
Thanks, I got this one. FWIW I first tried to use AmEx (thinking it would double the warranty) but was declined. AmEx later called to make sure it wasn't a fraudulent attempt.

"They all weigh exactly 22 pounds and they all have a girth of 3...3 what?? 3 Girth Units. Come pick 'em up, please! I'm begging you! They're boxes and they're brown and they have tape all on 'em. And they'll probably fit on a dolly!"
I see that it's finally available online but AFAIK, there is no way to purchase the phone without the $30 T-Mobile prepaid card, right? I was thinking about going with the StraightTalk $45 unlimited web + text + talk deal. So, that means it's $329 + $2.97 shipping + 5% (~$16.x) sales tax for me or about $350 if I were to buy it online, and the various cb % below:
e b a t e s - 1%
ShopDiscover - 5%
FW - 1.5%
The 5% cb basically pays for the sales tax in this case.
If I were to go with the StraightTalk plan, can I get the ST T-Mobile SIM card at Walmart at the store, or is it online direct from ST only?

"As for the Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Note, Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update is currently under heavy development.
We are expecting Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S II and Samsung Galaxy Note in Q4. Samsung is going to give official word on Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III on 29 August at their IFA official Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 event."
Nice! I was wondering if they'd put it online, I didn't expect it to be this soon. My local store said they don't expect it for at least 3-4 weeks.
Looks like the online version will come unactivated with SIM card and $30 refill card? If so, I'm just going to sell the prepaid airtime and put my postpaid SIM in the phone. I have an S III but have been wanting an S II again as a backup except I'm not paying $550 + tax to get it directly from T-Mobile
