Student version is the same software without restriction but only $62.50 at newe [newegg.com]gg...if you are a student (edu account not required).

LR is possibly one of the greatest softwares (functional, easy to use, no bugs) around, and a great value. if you take alot of pictures, its fantastic for raw processing, cataloguing and organizing, and is quite powerful.

Has been $100 several times in last few months (eg. http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/7...-sdhc-card, http://slickdeals.net/f/4336564-L...ing-filler, etc)... it'll be that price again, so I would wait if you can.
Otherwise, it's a reasonably good price on an awesome piece of software. |

You may also want to consider Corel AfterShot Pro from this deal

What are the requirements for student verification? The year I graduated college we all got to keep our .edu accounts. Is that good enough or would I need more info one way or another.
Also still have my old student id which they didn't contain any dates on the card. |

Thanks OP. Recently I bought it from Amazon for $125, so contacted for price match, but I was refused, luckily I had not opened it yet so returning it and buying from new egg.
