I got this projector refurb for about $50 less and would have bought it new at this price. It was an upgrade from a Dell one and the extra brightness with multimedia friendly options really helped. Oh and 3d looks awesome if you set it up and working correctly. I have tried Optoma 3D XL (for PS3 and blu-ray 3d you need something like this) and nVidia 3d vision kit.
If anyone is looking for some brand-new DLP Link glasses let me know. I bought a few extras and turns out I didn't need as many after buying a 3D XL and nVidia Vision kit that both came with more glasses.
I feel like projectors are changing rather often and so are their pricing - meaning its not a "see it and buy it" type of thing, but it takes a bit of effort. Does anyone here know of a forum or place where this ongoing discussion is taking place?
price/quality/warranty are pretty dynamic variables and i feel like I need some more expert advice to help buy the right one.
I was just looking at the reviews on Newegg , and many of them say, after around 1 year , people are reporting "white specks", that grow in number. If you are gonna get it, at least read a few pages of reviews.
