yes, i have blue cross and i have blood test in labcorp every year. They are great, but off hr and weekend will have a long line if without appt.

Thank you very much, that is GREAT!! This is truly a great service, it saves you the trip to the doctor, you can just order and get your blood work done!

My routine physical and blood test is included once per year for free with my insurance under preventative care. Yeah... except last year they did one too many tests on my blood and I was sent a $70 bill (not anything specific, it's just they ran a test the doctor deemed as routine, and the insurance company didn't).

So I think I'll give this a try and bring the results to my doctor during my next physical to save us both some headache. I'm not too thrilled about the generic phone call of "Yup, everything's good.", and having to go back if I want the details anyway.

Labcorp needs a doctors referral here in my state but will accept this as a referral.
My question is does someone besides me get a copy of my results? Who is Life Extension?
I can also do this for about 15 dollars more at the local grocery store (Sonora Quest Labs-Healthwaves) and they send my results to me and no one else. I am sure they keep one on file for their records.

Only you should get the results. Life Extension is just a seller of services. You basically pay them, get a voucher and then Labcorp does the test. If you are uber concerned about privacy, do it anonymously. Some sites even tell you explicitly how to do that with prepaid visa/mastercards.

And if I bring in an extra blood sample, will they tell me if that damn kid is really mine?

Thank you president Obama. It's one of the benefits of Obamacare. Although under my insurance, the yearly physical is free. The blood test is not. My insurance company said it would cost $300. The doctor even warned me it would cost during my physical.

Yep, thanks to Obamacare my annual premiums went UP $400 the first year, and my zero copay went to $25.00, then my annual deductible went from zero to $1000.00 with nothing less offered. Wording from the company, "due to recent legislation.........". Yep, Obamacare.
