Would these work with the Panasonic ST30's from last year?

Bluetooth >>> IR
Battery >>> USB recharge

I've used a couple different versions of the USB ones and it's always the same story... Keep them plugged in at all times or expect them to be dead when you do go watch something in 3d once every 2-3 weeks.

Imagine you have friends over, you want to show off your set, you go get the glasses but find them to have no juice. Option 1, go to the junk drawer and swap out the batteries. Be up and running in 2 minutes. Option 2, get your USB cables, get everything plugged in and then wait for the to charge for?? Hours??

I didn't have a sears on my way home, so I ordered them from BestBuy and will pricematch when I pick them up. Just an FYI for those that have a BestBuy more conveniently located.

i'm guessing this won't work with projectors, specifically this one:

They are certainly cheap but I prefer the SSG-3050GB because they fold and I can store them easily.

If you meant the Panasonic ST30 from Target then these won't work. I had the same tv and picked up 2 pairs of these. They won't sync with the tv (bluetooth vs IR, maybe?)

Based on the review and my own experience, it should work with any 2012 Samsung or Panasonic model. However, the ST30 is a 2011 model and may only work with Panasonic glasses.

Other brands are YMMV. Not sure of a way to check which TVs meet the standard. You could Google or check this thread at AVS [avsforum.com]. You could also check reviews for your TV.

Looks like the TV uses an IR sensor based on glasses recommended is that post's wiki. So these would not work.

Yes, comes with the required battery. Some assembly required. Sync with my 2012 Panny was a breeze. Turned on glasses by holding in button and TV showed sync icon. That simple.
Active shutter only engages when 3d contents displayed. It is kind of cool to watch glasses switch mode automatically if you change channels or stop bluray.

Does anyone know if this will work with Sony Bravia??? I have the Sony BRAVIA KDL55HX750, pls help!!!

That looks like a nice projector. If it works with the Panasonic TY-ER3D4MU glasses, then they may work with these Samsungs as they appear to be compatible.

Based on the following comment from the CNET review in the OP, I would think not.

While Sony's 2012 3D TVs like the HX750 still use proprietary glasses, Samsung and Panasonic are now selling 2012 glasses and TVs that comply with the standard and earn the special logo.
