I have this product. After owning three Epsons prior to this, all I can say is I'll never go back. The only thing that bothers me is that it is too quiet,(can't tell if it's printing from the other room). It can print B&W even if a color cart is empty. The WiFi works very well. Compatible carts are cheap and work well also.

But the Brother J430 I picked up month ago for $40 AC...no issues so far!

I love Brother and Brother printers. Ink is cheap (at least for the models that I choose) and, even while usually slow, the work great. I did have an issue with a "NEW" MFC-240C printer (paid $3 after rebates, coupon) that was 4 years old but never opened. Opened it up this week and couldn't get it to print black. Ran the clean cycle about 20 times and finally wrote Brother (on Sunday) to see if there was anything they suggested. They responded for me to call on Monday, which I did. To my surprise, they replaced my printer with an upgraded wireless model, free shipping and told me to throw the other out (well, recycle it). Can't beat that.

Thanks OP. Don't need it but thought I would after having one not work out of the box earlier this week.

P.S. I think the ink dried up in the head/lines causing the issue. I might open it up and clean it later!

Yep. I have an HP printer and ink is like $30 for black and $40 for color. Brother is $15 black and you don't have to replace all colored cartridge if one runs out... Time to get a new printer.

how does this compare to Bthr MFC J430W, that was posted here few days ago, for the same price?

How does this model differ from other recent Brother printer deal? I haven't opened mine yet so I may want to exchange it. If there isn't much of a difference, I probably wouldn't go through the trouble. The other deal with 100 TUs was for model J430W and this one is J435W. Here is the info on the other deal.

I believe they will honor the price adjustment, as it will only be a few days.

It looks like it is also Apple Air Print compatible [apple.com]- that will make my wife very happy as our current Kodak printer doesn't allow for it.
