GET THE GALAXY NEXUS (SPRINT) Extended Battery for: FREE [Free Shipping Is over]
1. Go to Sprint Employee Referral Program [sprint.com]
2. enter: russ.s.mcguire@sprint.com (as email) // 383 as Employee ID // [this info is public]
3. make your way to accessories, select galaxy Nexus, add the battery [sprint.com] to cart and enter battery1 coupon code
4. check out (total should be free, with free shipping), be sure to enter the employee email and ID on the check out page again. Edit for 11/4/2012: Free shipping no longer seems to apply
5. wait for the sent email
NOTE: The description says that it is a bundle that is free with purchase of GNex but it will allow you to checkout with just the battery in your cart! When I applied the coupon code, it redirected me to select a phone. When i clicked back (google chrome) and reapplied the coupon, it took me to checkout (free).
This battery will fit into a Verizon Galaxy Nexus. The stock cover actually fits pretty well or you can slightly modify the Sprint Extended cover that comes with the battery - one tab has to be cut on the right side (as your looking at the back of the phone)
This Battery can be used to ATT: Samsung Skyrocket model too. I got this free and used for my Skyrocket. It works. There is a small bulge to the cover, but i have a case for my phone, so no issues. Works like a charm
Promo code is: BATTERY1 not BATTERY 1 as described in OP's post.

just so you know it might extend your use time by 30min, but that 30min you might be able to use the 3g for 5min more at 1kbs ...good luck. rofl

if not, i look forward to buying your underpriced batteries on ebay as my extended one is getting on in age and isnt holding as much as it used to |

debating between a Sprint GS2 or the galaxy nexus... nexus has slightly larger screen but no sd slot.... any other factor guys?

Well that was a waste of time, code is battery1 only if you are looking to buy a new galaxy nexus though.. aka if you are a current customer well sorry they have your money

Incorrect. I just called their telesales line, told them I was calling for the sprint galaxy nexus free battery offer. They were going to charge $13 for shipping, but I mentioned that the website has shipping at $6.50.They said they could match it but it is a longer shipping time. So for $6.50 and 5 minutes I got an extended battery for my galaxy nexus! If you order online, the system is looking for a particular purchase period. If you call, you just have to own the phone on your account currently. |
