But this seems to come with the battery door that accommodates the extended battery, so I think you are fine even if you're running GSM.

It worked on my phone with no problems off my data. Now I know you can use the extended gsm version on this on the tmobile galaxy s2,but will this sprint version work.

Ordered it for my SGS2. If it shows up I'll see if they can exchange at a Sprint store for a battery door that fits. If not I will probably just experiment with it at home to see how the battery holds up. My battery life has gone downhill since the ICS update a month ago.

basically i emphasized what i put in bold and told them that i felt the message was misleading. after the rep talked to her supervisor a few times she put the order through an i just had to pay the $14.06 for shipping and tax on the msrp of the battery

Worked for me on their website. Added it to my cart after the referral stuff and then put my zip. then I didn't choose a phone, just went back to shopping cart. Completely free, no tax either.

Thanks. But that referral code thing is gonna get deleted and someone's gonna get yelled at.

BTW- I'm not even a Sprint customer. What a wacky promotion.
