why do the majority of "deal" links do not open on mobile?
help please

If you have an ad blocker, sometimes the links get blocked because the referral redirects are on the ad blockers black list. If you disable the ad blocker they should work.

I use this URL decoder when I have trouble accessing a website with a referral.
It extracts the original link without the referral. Works everytime. A bit cumbersome on moblie. http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/ Last edited by evongugg; 08-16-2012 at 06:11 AM.. |

What phone and which browser are you using? My guess would be the redirection/switch to mobile pages and something gets lost in the middle. You are not the first SDer to have this problem. Not sure if a solution was ever found or not. A Quick search on the forums here might help.

using dolphin hd on android sensation.. ive already tried nearly all browsers on mobile and it's the same.. i know it is the referral . cause that's the adress that shows up not opening.. not the original deal link never happens on desktop. |

Are either of you on AT&T? Another thread indicated AT&T was having some DNS issues which could also impact things.
