New car that i've been talking about

Initial review- i love it, super clean shifting sound system is crisp and clean, blue tooth everything, receiving and making calls/pandora etc.. love it.

7 year warranty 100k miles, + clear bra on everything facing forward, door jams, door edges, etc.. everything that is typical abuse and 50% tint all around (wanted to keep it classy and not draw too much attention)

its very responsive for such small engine. i havnt taken it past 4k rpm because breaking it in, im very very very very happy. even threw in weathertech floormats and rear trunk weathertech matts

these are just some rushed iphone 3gs pics. will put more better ones up eventually.

all in all 24k spent, very happy car+lots of options+clear bra and tint+7 year warranty =24k like 24.4 with dealership title fees and such

you spent 24.5 on a scion tc? i spent 22.200 on my 100% fully loaded mazda 3 gt with leather bose and nav and auto and tints 2 years ago.

i paid 1500 for an additional 7 year 100k warranty. then dealership fees etc, car out the door was 23k with alot of extra things i wanted.

didnt matter too much to be honest 20-24k its all the same at that point. i even debated mustang 5.0 but everyone here in alaska has one. overall enjoying it a lot. comfortable drives nice and i feel its semi sporty for a daily driver. already ordered winter tires for my car aswell. blizzak ws70 anyone has any experience with them?

I used the conti dws for my all seasons after the stocks got shot. no experience with those winters but i highly recommend the dws when your ready to replace your stocks for all season.

yeah will look into those, i always used primacy mxv4's for daily drivers. but winter i always switch them when winter comes to a winter tire. that extra few feet will save your life. everyday theres cars flying off highway here in alaska. EVERYDAY seriously, as long as no one gets hurt,. its kind of funny. you drive down road one day, no cars.

next day, 20 of them flown off road into ditches etc.. sucks for them

What is that third pedal for? Redundant brake?

I used Blizzaks as the winter tires on my RWD turbo Volvo, they served me well.

$1500 for an extended warranty for a Toyota? I don't know if that's a good idea because chances are, it's not going to need major repair that'll add up to $1500 or more before the 7 ys/100k mile mark.

But, to each their own. Personally, I'd rather use that $24k and buy a used G35/37 coupe. That is, if I was looking for a sporty coupe.
