You know, they are using different terminology referring to that $50 credit - the other is referred to as 20,000 first use bonus points. The $50 may just be a new minimum amount that you have to spend?? Not sure, of course, but someone posted they called a csr earlier in the thread and was told that they had to spend at least $50 to qualify, maybe they changed it because some were spending like $5 to trigger the first use. Still, not clear so just should be taken fwiw - just a guess really.

Wasn't approved instantly, but literally received and email 10 mins later saying I was, weird. Anyway, I have yet to make my first purchase and got scared when I saw that the credit is now only 50 bucks, but luckily on my account it stills says 20,000 points for the first use, thank the universe. Hope this helps some people. Now, what should I buy?

So I called a Csr at barclay and asked him about 20,000 point & $50 issue. He said the 20,000 point is still valid because the terms and conditions state that.
Whats a little weird is he talked about the $50 wording on the apply page and said that is valid as well. So I asked him if a person can get both 20,000 + $50 credit and he said yes. I specifically asked him "so that would be $250 in bonuses"?. He said yes. So based on what he said it seems like it's still on. I'd hate to do this and not get the 20,000 for some reason and still have a hard pull on my credit report. EDIT - Rolled dice and applied. Instant approval $7500. Under rewards link in my online account it reads;

OMG. Am I missing something? I applied this card and received it. And then, made a first purchase at Lowes for $89.47. Today, I checked out my account on line and realized that my current reward total is 89 points. Where are 20,000 points ? Anyone could explain what's going on with this credit card?

Is there anything mentioned about the $50 credit in the Rewards Program Overview section of mynflcard.com other than 20,000 points. |
