1. Signed up through OP link.
2. Got Instant Approval for $1800. 3. Logged into account and checked program terms and conditions. 4. Saw: "...you will be eligible to receive a one-time bonus award of ten thousand (10,000) Points." So why does it not say 20,000? Am I going to have to fight for the extra 10,000? I took screenshots of the webpage just in case. Anyone else have a similar experience? |

For Chase Freedom we had to spend $500, and within the next billing cycle we received statement credit for $300. If I understand correctly, with this card we essentially need to spend $25+ in order to be issued $200 in statement credit to use for whatever we please. Is this accurate or am I simplifying it too much?

I applied and got approved for $750. Really low. Also, in the terms and conditions it says the first use bonus is only $100. So it seems as if I got the Platinum card instead, but on the OP's page, it says the Platinum card should be able to get 20k points as well. So who knows.

I also got the "20,000 points for first use." I chose the Bengals. I wonder if the team you choose matters? The card I got was also a Visa if that matters. (Could tell by going to Benefits>Guide To Benefits) Last edited by Solari; 08-17-2012 at 06:44 AM.. |

people ill try to simplify it as much as possible for you. get the card and use it to buy gum (25cents). pay that off at next statement. receive points in as little as 1 week after statement closes. purchase something for exactly 200 (split between two cards) or more, but never less. for example i bought a ring for 500 so i told them to charge 200 to my barclays and the remaining to a better points card. then you redeem your 20,000 for full amount on your 200-+ purchase. you end up paying nothing or e.g. (202.93 - 200 = 2.93 is your next statement due ).
