hahaha, the media keeps saying it is the song.
They barraged into a church in skimpy neon outfits, sang songs with explicit lyrics, electronically amplified their guitars and voices, and WOULD NOT LEAVE. They deserve to be charged with hooliganism. |

cat Riot got what they deserved...and the sentence wasnt overly harsh.
And this from someone who is very critical of the Putin Regime and the Russian Orthodox Church. The polls were not skewed, biased, oversampled or wrong. I was. There was no wave, no landslide, I was wrong about that too. Nate Silver is the gold standard of polling analysis.

I have no doubt that the White House is taking notes right now... The truth: Management at IRS can blame themselves and how they have chaotic and poor management, but God-forbid you, or I, or anybody else in America gets audited and doesn't have their ducks in order and s***-together, your ass is going to court or jail.

I am sympathetic to many the ideas put forth by cat Riot in their court statements. The Putin regime has an atrocious record of abuse of rights and nefarious and seriously egregious actions. It's just that the arrest of cat Riot for their actions here isnt one of them. These feminists no doubt have other axes to grind with the ROC. Running into a Church with faces covered by balaclavas post-Beslan isnt a way to win friends and influence people. cat Riot pushed the envelope and got what they were looking for. If you cant do the time, then dont do the crime. My suggestion is to protest the government in ways that dont trample on other citizens rights. |
