refurb?
i bought one of these machinces at bb and ie 9 didn't work well. i took it back adn they had to reorder because it was out of stock. it has been over a week and i am gettign tired of waiting, so i went to office max to see what they had. they had a comparbale toshiba (S855-S5251), normally priced at $730, on sale for $530. the office max guy said the asus ahd to be a refurb at the $480 price. really?

And it's certainly NOT a refurb, although at the great price I can see why some would assume that. |

Well don't know if Best Buy discontinued this or they are just OOS. It was the 2nd best priced Intel 3rd gen i5 laptop available from a B&M store....so ashamed if it's gone indefinitely. Late buyers should just hope for better choices & prices later in the year.

My bestbuy has this same machine for $383 on Clearance. They also have a Toshiba Model: L875-S7208
2nd gen i3 17.3" Laptop - 4GB Memory - 640GB Hard Drive for $360. Which would be the better choice? I'm thinking the Asus. |
