Need a laptop for school.

That deal looks pretty solid and priced decently around $600ish since it features fast 3rd gen Intel i5 and a good dedicated graphics card GT 630m (at the same level as many of last years solid budget gaming laptops on par with eg. gt540m, 6650m, 6720g2, 7670m) .

These are the only other deals that might suit you but not as good as the laptop you found:
Asus Intel i5 3210m (only has Intel hd4000) $480--the savings are $150 if you don't need the dedicated graphics card.

ACER 2nd gen Intel i5 + 6850m @ $579 [bhphotovideo.com].--The next best deal behind your deal has older CPU; it has much better graphics allowing games to play a little better, but CPU will be a little slower.

Battery life will be good on AMD A8 & A10 but cpu may fall behind the Iveybridge a bit. but there is not dedicated graphics on either A8 or A10 deal...so your deal is greater. It might be the best deal available with a new CPU+dedicated graphics so I ranked it in my top 20 in my signature.
