the bag also dropped few $$. just wondering, does canon/amazon have tons of these or something? seems several retailers are fighting for SDers business( a good thing)

I'd love your help in weighing this deal or the one @ B&H. I currently have a T1i with a 18-55mm and 55-250mm lens so I'd be selling the new ones. I already have a bag so I guess I could sell the one in the Amazon deal as well. B&H throws in paper. I'd also plan on selling my T1i body and most likely the printer as well to help cover the costs of the upgrade. I tried to keep my selling estimates relatively conservative since I'd rather make more then I expected vs getting stuck with making less.

Here are my estimates of how both deals compare:

Sell T1i: $300 ($149)
Sell Printer: $75-$100
Total Cost: $49 - $79

The B&H seems cheaper but Amazon typically gives me more confidence when it comes to customer support.

Does T3i take HD pictures ? I had a D3100 and I played around with all the settings but i cant seem to figure out that part. Not sure what I was missing with the nikon. However when I use my Sony A300, i always shoot it in the "HD" mode.

HD pics = while i do a slide show on the bid screen LCD, the picture fills up the whole screen fills up and the picture quality is truely amazing.

I have been on the fence all along - i prefer amazon as they have better customer service like you said on a big purchase like this one. I did a similar deal earlier this year (or was it last year ? lol) with a $400 rebate. The printer shipped very late (past the rebate deadline) and in the end, as it turned the rebate deadline was extended, Amazon customer service stood behind throughout.

• after refusing the paper,did the 76.67 refund credit came to card without chatting/calling amazon?

Printer price dropped to $337.29; since my order is not shipped it, I get the price adjusted.

No I had to chat get the refund ... after waiting a week nothing was done so I took the initiative ....

I sent mine back the other day after it was delivered - We'll see what the refund situation will look like although I did lose $6 at a minimum for returning it....

Does anyone know if returning the Lens will process the refund to the amount of the shipment? Or the promotion will be taken out?

Regarding the photo paper, my printer shipped prior to the paper but I couldn't cancel the paper portion online since it was about to ship. I initiated a chat and asked the csr to cancel the paper. He took care of it which allowed me to keep most of the promotion (since it had been applied to the printer) as well as get a credit of $64. It brought the price down even more to sweeten the deal.
