That was mentioned as being compatible by one of the reviews for this printer on Amazon. Confused if it is $5 for all the 6 inks. Seems real cheap. |

I have the 8120 model and it's pretty much the same with more features. It eats up ink and I use the refillable cartridges from Ebay to save a ton. You also could go with the ink cartridges on ebay that are throwaway and turn them into staples. The ink quality is pretty good for photos but canon ink is the best but very expensive.

One of the reviews I read on some website I cannot recall said it was still printing color well when the black cartridge ran out. Not sure about vice versa.
