For basic crayon's, I just buy several of the 24 packs for .50c each in August of each year at WalMart. $1.50 gets me 72 crayons, $2 gets me 96 crayons. 24 colors is plenty unless you have a Da Vinci in your home. A dual use pencil/crayon sharpener can be had for .50c more.

Yes, in store. Just remember the crayon and marker deals are seperate. I tried 2 twist crayons and 1 wipe off marker in store and cashier caught that it wouldn't go thru. So $4.99 + tx for 3 24pk twister crayons (basic & fun effects)

Are you speaking of Crayola crayons for that price? Have never seen a 96 pack for $2. (wish I had)

she is talking about price matching TRU I think: 24 pk @ $1.50 times 3 @ b1g2 is 72 crayons for $1.50 or 32 pk for $2 times 3 is 96 crayons for $2.

Some packages of Kraft string cheese at Target have a manufacturer's coupon for $3 off Crayola when you spend $10. Each string cheese has a "crayon" wrapping on it too! :-)

The outside of the package clearly states that there is a $3 off coupon inside.

I found plenty of Kraft s/c @Target + used TQ$0.50. I almost torn the MQ printed inside each bag.

The MQ worked like a charm. The Crayolas are better deal in-store. I got those Window Markers $4.99/ea + Twistable Crayons (regular + fun effects) $5.99/ea. I'm gonna get some Pip-Squeaks 16-ct. Markers + Triangle Crayons tmr.

I suggest you go earlier than Friday, looks like the Arts n' Crafts section got raided in my area. All Crayolas were 2/3 gone.

Thanks so much for the report! Does Toys r Us do rain checks? I can't get to one until Friday. Its a 45 minute drive!
