LG 60PA5500 60" 1080p 600Hz HDTV TruSlim Plasma TV - $899

For $900, its really a so so deal, consider Samsung Models goes onsale around $1000, once or twice a year.

Last year, LG 60PV250 which is basically last years version of this TV (USA model, 3 HDMI port) on sales around $700-750.

As a heads up, Micro Center is running this for $799, no MIRs or coupons.

Very limited as its B&M only.

All Micro Centers. It's also the PA6500, which is the model up. It's in their ad as "major brand".

Just a heads up, there were 3 left in stock at the Colorado store. Sales guy said they sold a bunch earlier in the week.

I got from Dell for $899 which is so so. My brother has had this tv for 3 months now and in my opinion it is awesome. I've watched several sporting events on it and again, it's awesome. Got via dell deal mentioned here a few weeks ago.

Picked up the 6500 for 725 AR at micro center during the labor day sale. I absolutely love the set. Amazing sd quality and the blacks are great. We have a skylight in the living room and I was worried the glare would be too much. As long as there is no direct light on the screen the glare is not an issue in a well lit room. There are some decent calibration settings under Amazon reviews for those interested.

As for lag I have had zero issues while gaming on my 360. The set has an AV mode for gaming (im not sure if the setting reduces any processing time of the signal). I could use component to keep the signal analog but there isn't enough bandwidth to push 1080p. Although the only 1080p source for an xbox would be from streaming blu-ray movies.

I could see the 6500 getting down to 700 on BF but at 725 I had to jump.

Can anyone compare this good or bad to the walmart Panasonic p60u50 @ 950? For 50$ more it seems like the other is a much better brand but it's rather new and I'm not finding much on it.

The 6500 is at Sam's Club for $850 right now. Saw it a few days ago.

Its $850 at Costco as well..for PA6550 model
