What does it matter? Vista is super old and any computer that runs Vista can run 7 and they can afford it if they're going to be running those super expensive adobe programs. Also, it's not officially supported not because "it's a mess" but because it has so few users running the Adobe software. Really, Vista SP2 and 7 SP1 are very VERY close under the hood. Why don't you just run a little experiment and install Vista SP2 on a system that runs 7 fine. It will run just as well. Last edited by petard; 09-22-2012 at 09:30 PM.. |

Go to Adobe's own site http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshopd...eyond.html From the site "I think I explained why. There was still a good chunk of our user base that was still using XP – though that number is expected to dwindle rapidly over the few years. Vista use was tiny compared to Win 7 and XP. Unfortunately, users didn’t flock to Vista." Right there they state why its dropped. It's simply because not enough users use the platform to support it. Same reason they don't support Linux. You are too biased to even bother arguing with. You won't change your mind. I'm done with this thread. Last edited by petard; 09-22-2012 at 09:35 PM.. |
