I think it can go either way - ongoing or independent each time the deal is on. It's not a deal unless Newman places. When he does, it is an independent deal for the following Monday and no other. My take, but I also understand the "ongoing" argument as well.

When Ryan Newman finishes within the top 10, Outback Steakhouse offers a free Bloomin' Onion with any purchase the following Monday -- not every Monday. I don't follow racing nor do I sign-up for Outback promotional e-mails/text, so I appreciate the OP's notification.
