Comcast Blast Plus 39.99 for 9 months

I got the same deal yesterday at Sunnyvale CA.

1. I called the billing department to waive the $15 and they waived it within 30 secs.
2. they gave me 3 months FREE HBO.

I personally have found that comcast will give the new deals to existing customers too if you called their retention department.

I just stopped by Best Buy and inquired about pricing for this Blast Plus package. The Comcast sales rep would only offer me this rate for 6 months, then $59.99 for months 7 - 12 (same promo avail from Comcast.com). He did offer a no contract 1 year plan for $49.99...but there is no total cost benefit with that.

OP...did the Comcast reseller at Walmart lock you into a contract?

Existing customer can get on this deal also.. I just did my bill gone $166 to $81, then I didn't get the 30mb down. It was set to 12mb instead. Now it's $91 for my deal. I get I just got off the phone will billing and repair. So it's back to 30mb. They told me to get a new modem also D3 so I'll have to swap that out at the local Comcast officer tomorrow. That's zoom within itself.. I hate going there..

They have 50mb for $35 to $45 for 6 months or 100mb for 6 months or 150mb for 6 months but after the 6 months the rates are really higher. In all you need a D3 modem.

How much in monthly taxes and fees typically apply to the Blast Package (Internet/limited cable - CA)?

No Contract. You have to make sure he writes 9 months on the form he fills out for you, so for any further disputes we can show the form.

I have Docsis 2.0 Motorola modem and I am getting 33 Mbs since the modem is rated till 38Mbs.

For 50Mbs one will need Docsis 3.0

Stopped by my local Comcast retail store (Folsom, CA) and was able to replicate the 9 months for 39.99 (then 3 months at $59.99, and then up to the regular rate). I was also able to get a technician install at no cost. The sales representative didn't think the 9 month promo was still available, but she found it.

I got a bad tv box, so the technician came next day to replace the box. Comcast promised that they not charge me for technician but they charged me $50 for that.

make sure that you dont have any charges on your account (as service charge), else you need to call them and get it fixed.

Also what about 3 months free channel ?

Is your modem your own or you rent it?
