hmmm... people in the reviews are claiming this is actually a re-branded 5770. In fact these might even be refurbished 5770s, as some are saying there is ware on the parts. This whole thing strikes me as odd.

The 6770 is essentially the same thing as the 5770, but has some added blu-ray functionality.

I'm amazed to see the price stagnation of these cards, i got one for 70 almost a year ago.

ebonyks is right. A 6770 is the exact same chip as a 5770, but the BIOS is updated to add functionality.

I hate this rebranding crap by both AMD/ATI and Nvidia. Just adds confusion - which I am sure is their main purpose so they can get rid of these chips.

Who cares? The 5770 and 6770 is still the benchmark gamer card. It plays almost every game at 1080p at medium or above. Until directx 12 is released all dx11 cards will continue to be made and sold.

I am currently running a Radeon HD 4890 1GB, anyone have thoughts on upgrading to this card? I mainly play Battlefield 3, i have a core i7 w/ 6 gigs of ram, looking for a higher frame rate.

I'm not real familiar with radeon cards but according to this comparison this card would be a downgrade.

Much lower profile, same specs. $67 AR shipped after. There's also a refurb. of this for $55 shipped. Amazon sells it for $75. Would there be a performance difference?

Considering all the 460 7770 deals that have happened in the $85-$90 range, this isn't much of a deal.
