This card is epic. Plays any games I throw at it. As long as you have a quadcore cpu+ quality ram , you will laugh at people buying $400 cards.

Tom's Hardware 2010 Graphics Gaming Charts 3Dmark06 it is the next card in the score after the 8800 GT and 9800 GT. The normalized Gaming Chart (a kind of statistical averaging) for multiple games shows it just past the 9800 GTX. Essentially you are not going to get a better budget gaming card for $40, it's pretty much equivalent to the $40 9800 GT deal that sold old earlier this year very quickly. Plus, no rebates! TU and repped, good deal.

I see it in the description, but can this card be used to crossfire with the Asrock mobo that was on here? And if so, is it better to do so or spend $80 and get a better GPU. TIA.

1000 percent correct ..this is the best bang for the buck and runs cool ,lower power than any of the 4 series an absolute steal for the price

Have you tried Just Cause 2 or Skyrim? Yes, you can play new games on LOW with this card. But if games cost $30, then why not spend $80 and get a VASTLY superior Radeon 6770 with DX11 support? EDIT: The difference between this card that can technically play games and a $130 GTX 560 is playing at a smooth 60fps versus a jerky 25fps. I only throw that out there because you feel like taunting people with more expensive cards. Btw, I paid $200 for my GTX 570 that can play most games in 3D on High. This is a bit lower than the 4850 card I bought a few times last year at $40....still a very capable card.

Not really a good product. As others have said, it's not really a good value for games. HD 5770 or HD 4850 will get you much better mileage and for an HTPC I imagine this is pretty loud. You generally want either a passive, fanless heatsink for that or dual-fans so that they aren't struggling as much. This also goes for if you want to do anything other than games/movies so that your machine doesn't sound like a motorboat when you're working on it.
