Just picked one up. I've been watching out for an inexpensive basic gaming keyboard with macro options and this fits the bill. Not a COD fan, but I'm sure the stickers will peel off.

got 2 for my g15 backup good deal consider g15 was $80.

Also, this is a dumb question, but what can I do with the macro keys? I play games and such, but I've never really known a use for them.

You usually can set them to string commands together. For example, if you typically run a series of spells/abilities in a MMO (like Guild Wars / WoW) - instead of always hitting the same 3-4 keys in the same order, you can put them in the macro key and hit it once, and it will run the keys in succession for you. Logitech software changes what they do based on the game you are playing, so you can set them to different things per game in the software and then forget about it.

This one doesn't have the LCD though. Imagine if you're trying to frag and chat with someone on AIM at the same time, can't do it on this one

on second thought, im going to hold out for the sidewinder x4 to go on sale. Has wrist support, more than 5 keys register at once, red backlight with 4 levels of adjustment, and dedicated media keys
