Thread Details

WalMart has several games available for pre-order where you buy a $5 "reservation card" which you can redeem toward the game. Each includes a bonus $4.99 VUDU credit which you get by simply redeeming online (linit of 5 per VUDU account). However, the reservation card is actually a standard WalMart/SAMS gift card which you can redeem for anything in store or online at any time. So, you simply buy 5 of these cards for $25 in store, and you can redeem the VUDU credits to get a total of $25 WalMart/SAMS gift cards and $24.95 VUDU credit for $25.00 total. Find the cards in the gaming section of WalMart B&M. To see what they look like, go to www.zreward.com - it shows all the currently available ones.

Instructions to redeem VUDU credits are on the back of the cards, and at www.zreward.com. You get the VUDU credits emailed to you instandly after entering the bonus codes found under the silver scratch-off panels on each reservation card at www.zreward.com.

Worked great I used this in combination in setting up my vudu account and got an extra $5 credit then I connected my xbox and got an additional $5 credit moving me up to $35!

Has anyone tried to see if they can still do the disc to digital and get 5 free rentals ($24.95 credit)?
I am not sure how you were able to do this. I think when you sign up online now, you get a free movie, not $5 credit. When did you sign up?

If you did it within last few days, can you share the link where you got $5 for signing up?

Yeah, not sure how that was done either. I just signed up online and got the one free movie from a short list. Figured I could then DL the app on my PS3 for an additional credit, but the website notes:
Quote :
Follow the onscreen instructions to activate a new account and receive a movie credit on us! Choose from thousands of titles available in vibrant 1080p with rich Dolby® Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.
Edit: Got the $5.99 activation credit (via PS3) on top of the free movie sign up bonus. Guess I'll be taking a dvd to WM for the free (not really free, it costs $2) 5 movies after dvd to digital transfer, when I get the 5 gift cards.

I got a 5 gift cards for COD. I used my existing Walmart gc to purchase. Does it mean, we can get new set of game gcs using existing set of game gcs. Probably, sales person might not allow.

Any idea on the expiration of bonus codes/ vudu credits?

You mean, the moment we enter bonus codes in zreward account or entering emailed codes in vudu account? Any idea how long these bonus codes on the card are valid for?

Thanks for the info. I am able to use them to fill the gas in sams. I guess, there is no expiration for for the code. But once we apply to a account, we need to use the credit in a year.

Can this vudu credit be used to cover disc to digital conversion?
The Vudu credit is only good for purchasing/renting videos on the online service. The disk to digital is a purchase inside the Walmart store. Someone else in this thread asked if the GCs purchased from this promo can be used to pay for the disk to digital purchase. I intend to find this out for myself tomorrow!

EDIT: I stopped by the Walmart near my work and had a nice...long...conversation with the guy in the Photo Lab. Long story short you can use Walmart GCs (including the ones in this promo) to pay for the Disk to Digital conversion. Also, he's not a fan of the service...

ALSO: No one has mentioned that there is bonus content for the pre-ordered games associated with the code you get from the promo. Here are the games I chose and what bonus content you get with them:

Halo 4 (360): Customizable Circuit Armor Skin!!
Medal of Honor Warfighter LE (PS3): Global Warfighter Documentary!!
Call of Duty: Black Ops II (PS3): N/A
Assassin's Creed III (360): EXCLUSIVE MISSION: A DANGEROUS SECRET
Assassin's Creed III (PS3): EXCLUSIVE MISSION: A DANGEROUS SECRET

You can actually see the bonuses that you get with each game on the http://zreward.com/categories/1/products website if you look at the cards. The email you get for each redemption details this information, although there isn't much detail there.

Is this still working? I would like to get one more set. I would like to get few more assuming we can create multiple accounts on VUDU? In between, is there any expire date for bonus code to use to get vudu code for credit? Can we keep the unused bonus codes more than a year.
