Newegg 48-Hour Power Sale - Many, many deals

I've owned its cousin, the CP1500PFCLCD for just over a year, and it's performed quite well for during several power outages and brownouts. The only issue I have is that the monitoring software doesn't keep proper tabs on how many events there were (or it could be the UPS itself not properly advising the s/w), but I don't really mind that. With an i7 based system, 23" LCD and router, modem and switch, I can last just shy of an hour (more if I go to a lower power profile)....with PC shut off and only powering the LAN peripherals (router, modem, switch and NAS), I can squeeze 4+ hours. YMMV.

My model,the CP1500PFCLCD - which has more of a 'pure' sinewave than the model you're looking at, plays more nicely with some PFC power supplies (pretty much all of them these days)...I've Tried TrippLite, and APC, and they both caused noisy buzzing of my pc's PSU (2 of 'em: SeaSonic 580 and Antec 520). This CyberPower 1500PFCLCD did not cause any such noise or interference.

Do you need pure sine / PFC rated? Depends on your hardware and if it doesn't like modified sinewaves such as the one you were considering. Only hassle about finding out the hard way...this is a 25lb box you'd be paying to send back (unless newegg would cover that due to 'incompatibility' with your PSU, but I doubt they would). Would I recommend CyberPower? Absolutely, they do what they are supposed to do, and have a decent warranty, and are solidly built.
