selling gift card site? plastic jungle??

I have a massive gift card that I want to get cash for. it's a target , but I don't really want it and would prefer cash.....I heard of Plasticjungle , but hear some horrific reviews of ppl getting screwed over, so was wondering if there are other options. You can't buy American express or visa gift cards with a target gift card. is eBay the only way? I don't know how reliable it is with the PayPal payment and ppl scamming with PayPal.....suggestions?

I've sold about $400 to Plastic Jungle. Never had a problem.

I know Vons and Safeway had a program where they'd buy a gift card from you. I haven't done it but doing it in person to me sounds like a much better way to go (as a seller) than over the web if possible.

PlasticJungle is a good place...
ABCGiftCard and CardPool are also good alternatives (never sold to them, but I buy from them regularly)

I've done transactions with Plastic Jungle and I have been paid each time. At first I did the get a paper check option but the process tends to be a little slow. Also, they don't provide any tracking # so if you want to know if it arrived you'd have to pay extra for that.

Last week I tried the getting paid through Paypal option for the 1st time. I sold my GC at 8pm in the evening last Saturday 8/18 and by 11am the next Sunday morning on 8/19 I had the funds in my Paypal account.

You can break up your target gift card. At Target.com, you can use target gift cards to buy target gift cards. So this way, you can trade it for other gift cards you want or sell to plastic jungle at $25 at a time.

I have never sold to PlasticJungle, but I have sold/bought from Cardpool TONS of times. Never once had a problem.

bumping for question

i haven't seen any info for it, and got nothing googling. I know safeway bought cardpool, but doesn anyone know if all vons/safeways customer service counters can do the "buyback"? If so, are their B&M buyback offers comparable to their online cardpool offers? Thanks for any info.


edit: for anyone searching, Vons pays 60% for a buyback in person, for a card that their own cardpool website says 75%(paypal)-84%(amazon).
