Seems like there is a similar deal, but separate code on the desktop here.

Couple of questions: 1. Are there any more coupons to use? 2. Is the RAM only expandable to 6GB? The technical specs are very confusing...

no, ram will take minimum 8gb total if not 16, but mine has 8gb in there right now.

Where's the guy who can build this himself for $140? With legit Windows of course...

Ouch. 16 would have been preferable. 8GB is fine for now, but it will eventually become outdated...

However, this is still not a bad deal. Can you confirm that the memory speed listed *is* accurate? (1333mhz)

Tried that trick too..every OD refused to honor it, saying that it has to be exact same model, and had received a memo telling them this...so either you got lucky (hitting a complete dufus) or know somebody at an OD to ring this through. If it is the former, good luck trying to get it again.
Probably a moot point, as I just checked inventory. Most around here are showing only 1 in stock, which is usually the one on the shelf.

My experience with Lenovo has been nothing short of horrible. Simply put...cheap HW. No TC...just my experience.
Bought a couple of these from Staples over the last 2 years, along with a bunch of refurbs from the Lenovo Outlet. Not complaints on any of them. If you're in the market for a simple cheap machine this is the way to go.

Not, you won't find built-in WiFi in many desktops, specially budget ones.

Well, I didn't say it wouldn't run 16gb... I am running 8gb, and don't have a 2 dimm 16gb kit to check it, but most h61 chipset boards run 16gb, so I would try it out if I could

And the memory was running at 1333 mhz. Mine was actually a 1600mhz stick, cas 11 I think, but it will run at 1333mhz cas 9 w/ the i3 on the h61 chipset.

Right, with the x1 slots though, there is room for a card.

Can someone suggest a good wifi card or usb adapter that won't break the bank that is good for all bands? There are so many to choose from!

I've seen a couple of Dell's pop up in the BestBuy clearance section with wifi, but other than that it's rare anywhere near this price. You can probably find a decent wifi card for $20 or so that will fit this case.

I stay away from the usb ones personally. You just sharing internet or will you be moving files?

I bought the AirLink101 awhile back and haven't had any problems with it. It's hovering around $15 right now, I think I paid $10, Amazon [amazon.com] has it right now for $13 with FSS. I use it to connect a computer across the room from my router so I can't vouch for if this thing works through walls/floors or not but it should be good as long as you're not trying to get crazy far from your WiFi access point.
