This Drive uses a newer Marvel Controller and carries a 3 year warranty.
We have a few of the M3 Models in Service and they have been fine.
From my expierence Plextor always makes dependability their #1 priority.
This is the first Product I have seen them priced competitively.

This actually still uses the older controller - the Marvell 88SS9174, the M5P will use the newer controller - the 88SS9187.
