20 free miles/points on USAIR, Delta or Starwood
If you need to add points to avoid forfeiture, here's a way to get up to 16 miles or points. You get 2 points per question. Answers are shown on the link. Note: De3lta miles do not expire and Starwood may require a stay to extend points.
Will it work for all 3 airlines if you do it 3 times, or do you need to choose just one?
The embedded link takes you to Audience Rewards, which you can sign up directly as well. You can do it once every week, so next time rotate to the other airlines. These program partners used to have their own separate weekly set of trivia questions, but now it has been combined. I use it to maintain some activity on the airline accounts to avoid miles expiration, but some avid mile collectors actually sign up for 3 different accounts, one for each of the Airlines or hotel program.
Is this legit? It's a third party website. Hesitant to give them my airline number an password.
Yes, audiencerewards.com is a legitimate website and partner of those airlines. It also works with United miles, by the way. and if you're still doubtful, just go to untied.com > mileageplus > earn award miles > entertainment, and you'll see the link to their audiencerewards' landing page on the list of partners.
I've been using audiencerewards for a little over a month now, getting free miles through these quizzes. The answers are usually easy to google or are posting on miles blogs and communities. The miles seem to transfer over to their respective programs within a week.
p.s. If you want to be able to earn miles for each airline, you'll need to create separate accounts. Otherwise it'll only allow you to earn miles for one airline and count the quiz as already completed when you try to earn it for another airline.
I registered, answered the questions (for Starwood) and validated my email, but I still haven't seen where I give them my SPG number? I feel stupid for asking, but what am I missing?
When you answer the questions (if you are not logged in), they should prompt you to either register (with your SPG #) or to sign in to your existing audiencerewards account. If you already registered before answering, then you should just be able to go to audiencerewards.com and go to your account management, and change your earning preferences to SPG. You should be able to enter your # there.
Go to Audiencerewards.com
Click "Edit Profile"
Click "Select Point Earning Preferences..." and select Starwood Preferred Guest
