Any movie worth its salt in the last couple of decades was filmed in 2.33:1 or 2.40:1 (negligible difference to fill a 2.35:1 aka 21:9 screen). Hell, all commercials I see are letter-boxed on the top and bottom now. The main appeal for me is to have a 33% wider field of view in games.

Edit: Actually looks like a lot of TV shows still film in 1.78:1, shame but not surprising when it took them forever to adopt to 16:9 widescreen in the first place. 21:9 aspect ratio should be the final aspect ratio to rule them all.

American Pickers, Shipping Wars, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel shows + sister channels. That's just what I'm seeing on my TV now.

Left Microcenter today bound and determined to head for Best Buy because the customer service was so farking bad. (really? really) At least college drop-outs make an attempt to explain technology they've heard about in passing, the pukes at MC wouldn't give me the time of day when I wanted to look at netbooks instead of 1k laptops.

So I checked out BBY stock yesterday, and I don't see a 91% decline. It went from ~21 to ~17. Looks closer to a 20% drop.
