Oh dear motherofgod. Don't be persuaded by the low price. Are you a person who thinks that the Apple-provided earbuds sound pretty bad? Do you think those $20 Skullcandy earbuds sound really bad? Well, prepare for the worst. 2XL is the generic-brand spin-off of the Skullcandy brand, manufactured solely to fill the niche market of sub-$8 earbud market (aimed at lower-class US citizens and the pre-teen market). The idea was that the "Skullcandy" brand would help propel sales over generic gas-station supplied earbuds, but the 2XL brand carries its assets separately from the rest of Skullcandy in case the plan backfires and 2XL's reputation gets tarnished.

They are cheap, disposable earbuds that do not have a proper driver; the driver is the same as a motherboard monitor speaker (the 2-wire speaker that goes "BEEP!" when your motherboard successfully POSTs).


Although, one odd thing I noticed: music by Ke$ha sound better with these earbuds.


Don't buy a 2XL earbud unless you want someone to have a shitty time.
